Slow Sunday Stitching

I sure missed visiting all my slow stitching friends last week.
It's amazing how much I have enjoyed this weekly ritual of drinking tea and seeing what you're stitching. But last week, for no apparent reason, the link up wouldn't work. I have spent countless hours this week trying to figure out how to fix whatever the problem is. I haven't made one bit of progress in determining what the problem is, so I am trying out a new company called InLinkz and will see if I can get that to work for us today.

Here is my most recently completed Life is Beautiful block. Surprisingly... it's not my favourite :)
But it's done and I'm looking forward to starting the embroidery on the next one today.
What are you hand stitching today? I'm hopeful that the new system will work for us, so please let me know if you have any difficulty with this experimental link up.

Frustrating when technology does not do what one wants. Sorry you had to spend time trying to fix. Hope this works although I won't be linking until next week. Slow Sunday has grown into an awesome linky party.

That is one of the blocks I have already done. It was not my favourite either!

I think I can understand why this block is not your favorite. I missed linking up with everyone last week also. I am glad that you found a solution for this week.

I wish I had a slow stitching post to link up, the InLinkz is showing without having to reload and is easy to use. The pictures are larger too, thanks for trying a new service! I'll have something soon to share. This week's focus was on the next step in Scrap Dance Tango, and on the EQ7 contests.

Your most recent stitchery is just darling!! Your words are always stitched so beautifully. I still struggle with making mine look good!

My mil would love that! She is all about cows. The linkup worked great.

Glad to see the linkup is back up and running. I love seeing what everyone is up to each week. I need to get my hand work out again so I can join in.

At first I thought the cow was a globe with a cow head, and then it started to makes sense to me--lol! I'm blaming my allergy meds--my brain is in a fog--love the saying though!

I've had some problems with the link up in the recent past Kathy - once I'd added my link everyone else's would disappear and not come back, so I couldn't visit anyone :( Sometimes a plugin will interact with other plugins or programmes and the only way to tell is to turn them off one at a time and see what happens. Maybe this is something happening here? Anyhoo, no problems whatsoever with this new one! Love your stitching, although the little cow is a bit of a strange shape I love the saying!

I'm not on allergy meds Karen, so I don't know what my excuse is but I didn't make the connection between the shape of the cow and the saying until I ready your comment, haha!

A very fun little stitchery. Glad you found another option for your linky part. Sometimes things break in blogland and it's impossible to figure out why.
